Ida and Sigmund (pictured) run a small cattle farm in Valdres, Norway. I visited them in 2016.

My dad, 2017.
My work was featured in D2. The exhibition "Kvardagens ferjereiser" is open until the end of august.
My mothers parents, my grandparents, both died in 1988. Five years before I was born. Last autumn I moved into what used to be their home. I only know what I've been told about them. My grandfather loved animals and was allergic to onions and bacon. My grandmother always wished the kitchen faced towards the fjord, not the forest.
Work in progress.
The view from my kitchen window. The sun is gone behind the mountains from October to February, leaving us with no sunshine except what can be seen on the mountain tops.
In April I visitet Roar on Litle Færøy, a small island on the western coast of Norway, where he lives alone with his sheep.
